Four cookies, all of them necessary to run the site, none of them advertising. Here they are by name.

1. The short version
silvanestudios.com sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and contains no tag manager, session recorder, or social tracking pixel. Nobody is building a profile of you here. The only cookies are the ones that make signing in to the client workspace work — and if you never sign in, the site sets none of them.
2. What a cookie is
A small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the same browser on the next request. Some are essential — without one, signing in would not survive a page change. Others exist to measure or to advertise. We use the first kind only.
3. Every cookie we set

All four are classed as strictly necessary. Under Canadian and European rules, cookies of this kind do not require consent, because the site cannot provide the service you asked for without them.
4. The notice you saw on arrival
A short notice appears on your first visit. It is there to tell you what is set rather than to extract a click: because there is currently nothing optional to switch on, choosing “Necessary only” and choosing “Accept” produce the same cookies today.
Your choice is not wasted, though. It is stored in your browser and it controls anything optional we might add later — if the studio ever turns on analytics, it will only run for visitors who accepted. We would rather record the preference now than add a banner in a hurry later and pretend everyone had agreed.

5. What we store besides cookies
Your cookie choice is kept in your browser’s local storage, which is not sent to our servers. The site also stores small conveniences there — such as whether you have seen the opening film — so it does not repeat itself. None of it identifies you.
6. Third parties
Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page, which is Stripe’s domain rather than ours, in order to process payment and prevent fraud. That is governed by Stripe’s policy. Every other service we use runs server-side and sets nothing in your browser — the full list is on the Sub-processors page.
7. Blocking cookies
Every browser can block or clear cookies. Blocking the four above means you cannot sign in to a client workspace; everything else on this site works normally.
