1. Sold once

Each Edition and each concept template is licensed to a single buyer and then retired from sale. When a payment completes, the listing is marked claimed and cannot be bought again — that is enforced by the software, not by a promise to remember. We will not sell the same design to a competitor, or to anyone else, afterwards.

A listing marked claimed is genuinely claimed. The studio does not mark designs as sold to manufacture scarcity.

2. What you receive

• The design itself — layout, typography, colour, and motion.
• The source code of the template.
• Customisation to your business: your name, content, imagery, and colourway, to the extent described on the listing.
• Deployment into your own hosting account, with the keys handed to you.

Concept templates were built as studio exercises. Any brand name, copy, review, or statistic inside one is invented for the exercise and must be replaced with your own true content before launch. Buying the template does not buy the fictional business inside it.

3. Your rights in it

On full payment, Silvanè Studios assigns to you the design and the code as customised for your business, for use on the websites and marketing of that business, worldwide and forever. You may modify it, extend it, move it to another host, and have another developer work on it. There is no ongoing licence fee and no dependency on the studio.

4. What you may not do

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template as a template, theme, or starter kit.
• Use it to build sites for other businesses, whether paid or free.
• Claim to be the author of the underlying design.

The line is simple: the design is yours to use as your business, not yours to sell as a product. If you want the right to reuse it across multiple businesses you own, ask — it is a different licence and we will price it.

5. What the studio keeps

We keep the generic components, patterns, and internal libraries the template was assembled from, and we reuse them across our work. What we do not reuse is the composition you bought: the particular design of your Edition is retired with your purchase.

We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and case studies, and to state that the Edition was claimed. Tell us if you would rather not be named and we will show it unattributed.

6. Fonts, images, and open source

Typefaces, stock photography, and open-source packages inside a template carry their own licences from their own owners, and those are not ours to transfer. Where a licence has to be held in your name, we will tell you before purchase and license it in your name; where a demo uses a placeholder image we cannot transfer, the listing says so and we replace it during customisation. You will receive a list of every third-party licence at handover.

7. What we promise

That the design is original to the studio, that it does not knowingly infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it works as demonstrated on the live demo at the time of purchase. If something we built is broken and you report it within 30 days of handover, we fix it at no charge.

We do not promise commercial results, search rankings, or that the design suits a business it was not built for. The demo is live and linked from every listing precisely so you can judge that before buying.

8. Payment and refunds

Payment is taken through Stripe. Because an Edition is withdrawn from sale the moment it is claimed, refunds work differently from ordinary goods — see Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Liability

Our total liability in connection with an Edition or template is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian law.

10. Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Questions before you buy are welcome and preferred: hello@silvanestudios.com.
