Websites for contractors.

Nobody hires what they can't picture. Your work is built to last; your website should look like it.

For contractors01

Silvanè Studios designs websites for contractors, landscapers, builders and home-service businesses, from our studio in Fergus to clients across Wellington County, Waterloo Region and the GTA. Every site is built around the finished work, the towns you cover, and a quote request that takes less than a minute on a phone.

The brief02

What a website for contractors has to do

  1. 01

    Show the finished job

Real projects, real photos, before and after where you have them. The work is the whole argument; the site should get out of its way.

  2. 02

    Say exactly where you work

A page for each service and each town you cover, so you show up when a homeowner nearby searches for what you do.

  3. 03

    Make the quote easy

A short form that works on a phone and a call button one tap away. Homeowners compare contractors in minutes; the easy one gets the call.

  4. 04

    Show up on Google

Your website and Google Business Profile set up to work together: services, service areas, photos and review replies.

Where it goes wrong03

Why most contractor sites fall short

The work is excellent. The website rarely says so.

Photos stuck in a Facebook album, a “call for a quote” page and little else, or a site that was never built for a phone. Homeowners judge a contractor by what they can see before they call, so a site that hides the work loses jobs it never hears about.

The work04

Landscape construction · Fergus, Ontario

HB Landscaping

A Fergus landscape contractor with years of real work behind it, and a website rebuilt to show it.

  • A homepage built on the work. A scroll-driven video hero over a real HB build, with the quote form on the first screen.
  • Services and service areas. A page for each service and for each town HB works in, starting with Fergus, so the site answers the searches homeowners actually make.
  • Google Business Profile audit. Categories, services and photos fixed, review replies brought up to date, and the old domain's forwarding corrected so it points to the new site.

Built to be kept up

You can add new projects and photos yourself, between jobs, without calling us. We can also set up a blog that publishes seasonal articles aimed at the searches homeowners make in your area, reviewed before anything goes live.

Questions05

Questions contractors ask

Do you build websites for landscapers, builders and trades?
Yes. Contractors and home-service businesses are a core part of the studio's work; see the HB Landscaping case study.
Can my website help me show up on Google Maps?
The website and your Google Business Profile work together. We set up both, including the services, service areas, photos and review replies Google looks at.
Can I add new projects myself?
Yes. Sites are set up so you can add projects and photos without calling us.
How much does a contractor website cost?
Every site is scoped to the business. The pricing page lists honest starting points, and Digital Editions offer original designs sold to one business only.
