Investment — Honest starting points

What good workactually costs.

We don’t sell packages, because the same package would be wrong for most businesses. What follows are real starting points, what’s always included, and — more usefully — an honest account of what moves a number up or down.

Figures are starting points, not quotes. Every engagement is scoped around your business, goals, content, and technical requirements — then priced in writing before anything begins.

Always Included02

No tier is missingthe basics.

01

A written scope

What's included is agreed in writing before work starts. Changes are discussed, not invoiced quietly.

02

Responsive build

Designed and tested for phones, tablets, and desktops — not scaled down from one layout.

03

SEO foundations

Technical structure, metadata, and performance so you're findable from day one.

04

Accessibility

Semantic markup, keyboard access, sensible contrast, and reduced-motion support.

05

Training and handover

A walkthrough so your team can update the site without calling us.

06

Launch support

We're available through launch week — not gone at handoff.

What Moves The Price03

Six things,mostly.

If you want a lower number, the fastest levers are scope and content readiness — not cutting quality.

Scale

The number of unique page templates matters far more than the number of pages.

Custom vs adapted

A one-of-one design costs less than a design drawn from scratch for you alone.

Commerce and integrations

Payments, inventory, bookings, and CRM connections each add real build time.

Content readiness

Having copy and photography ready is the single biggest lever on both cost and timeline.

Motion and interaction

Bespoke animation is craft time. It's optional, and it's priced honestly.

Timeline

Compressed schedules mean reserved capacity, which carries a premium.

Add-ons04

Copywriting

Messaging and page copy written with the design, not poured in after.

Photography direction

Shot lists, art direction, and retouching — or a photographer we trust.

Brand identity

Full identity system if the website isn't the only thing that needs work.

Ongoing partnership

Monthly capacity for measurement, iteration, and new pages.

Priced per project — see all services in detail.

Ongoing Care05

Every engagement includes a CMS, training, and a handover, so managing the site yourself is always an option. These are for when you’d rather not — monthly, cancel whenever, and never a condition of owning your website.

Straight Answers06

Why don't you publish fixed packages?

Because they'd be wrong for most people. A five-page site for a landscaper and a five-page site for a manufacturer with a product catalogue are not the same job. We price the work, not a tier name — the figures here are honest starting points.

What's the cheapest way to work with you?

A landing page at $900 — one page, hand-built to the same standard as everything else here. Above that, a Digital Edition at $2,400 is a genuine Silvanè design, sold once and retired, customised to your business.

What if my budget is under $900?

We'll tell you honestly, and usually point you elsewhere — a good template on a platform like Squarespace, set up carefully, beats a stretched engagement with us. We'd rather send you away well-advised than take a project neither side enjoys.

Is the first conversation billable?

No. Scoping calls, estimates, and the proposal are free. You only pay once there's a signed scope.

How does payment work?

Typically 50% to reserve the schedule and 50% at launch, with larger projects split across milestones. We can discuss a schedule that works for your cash flow.

What isn't included?

Domain and hosting fees, stock photography licences, paid ad spend, and third-party subscriptions are yours directly — we'd rather you own them than rent them through us. Copywriting and photography are available as add-ons rather than assumed.

Tell us the budget. We’ll tell you what’s possible.

Sharing a range doesn’t cost you leverage — it saves both of us three weeks. If the work can’t be done well at that number, we’ll say so directly.
